Opening of the outpatient clinics building
Today, Sunday, May 12, 2024, Professor Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, opened a number of medical projects and centers.
This was in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service, Professor Dr. Ashraf, former Vice President of the University,
Professor Dr. Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine,
Professor Dr. Sameh Youssef, Head of the Civil Projects Sector, National Service Projects,
Professor Dr. El-Shaarawy Kamal, Executive Director of Hospitals and Medical Centres,
Professor Dr. Walid Abu Samra, Director of the Center for Ophthalmology and Surgery
Brigadier General Nasser Mahmoud Youssef, Vice President and Director of Mansoura University Projects.
The outpatient clinics of the Ophthalmology and Surgery Center were opened, including a new building with an area of about 700 square meters, providing all the services that the patient needs, including public relations, receiving appointments, and completing procedures for issuing a state tunnel and health insurance, or entry procedures and withdrawing medical analysis samples.
A medical analysis laboratory was also opened on an area of about 80 square meters, in accordance with international quality standards and the code for the presence of medical laboratories.
In addition to several units for analyzing blood and various viruses and advanced plasma circulation with the latest devices and microscopes necessary for medical analyses, it also contains a rest area and a reception area for patients under the microscope of an elite group of faculty members at the Mansoura Faculty of Medicine.
The development of operations was completed in a volunteer building with an area of about 70 square metres, with the latest data on medical and microscopic devices, surgical machines, anesthesia, and imaging for patients with eye accidents. It also includes an area for sterilization, electronic recording, and medical supplies. The development was done in accordance with international medical quality standards and the Egyptian code for operations.
It is worth noting that the center includes reliable clinics based on the highest medical model to receive emergency and accident patients 24 hours a day and serves more than 15 thousand patients.
